There are many options for memorable wedding party favors that your guests will actually keep and cherish, rather than toss and forget about. Every detail of a wedding works together to create the overall atmosphere, but when that eventful day is over, the only things your guests will have to remember it, memories aside, are the wedding favors.
Personalized candles Many online wedding specialty stores offer candles in small glass votives that can be personalized with the names of the couple and the wedding date. These can be ordered in bulk and are therefore very cost effective. Some retailers allow you to include a small graphic, such as wedding rings or doves, as well.
Jeweled CDs Purchase and download a mix of songs that represent you, whether you choose classical music, timeless love songs or a blend of you and your fiancé’s favorites. Burn as many CDs as you need and decorate the CD cases with a decorative label and jewel embellishments. For even more inexpensive wedding favors, leave off the jewels.
Wedding bells Small silver bells can be purchased in bulk from party or wedding stores. All you need to do is print out a lovely little poem or quote about wedding bells onto thick craft paper, then affix the card to the bell with beaded or wire ribbon.
Garden goods Purchase miniature craft watering cans and packets of flower seeds. Decorate the watering can with ribbon and artificial flowers, and attach an appropriate quote about how love blossoms and grows. Place a seed packet inside each watering can for unforgettable wedding party favors. An alternative to this is to purchase seed packets and decorate and label them alone without the watering can.
Fall or winter scents Create scented pine cones in cinnamon, mint or orange. Dust them with gold glitter or any other color you prefer. Enclose each pinecone in a netting bag and tie it off with a ribbon and a printed card.
Christmas cheer Purchase round glass ornaments in your wedding colors or in gold or silver. Decorate the ornament with your names and date of the wedding using glitter pens or clear printed labels. You can also simply decorate with ribbon and beads and attach a printed card to be removed later. life123 |
